Well her blood pressure at 2am dropped to 85 over 46 so I notified the doctor. He ordered a bolus of IV normal saline 200mls which was given. Her IV fluids were increased to 6-hourly which is due to finish at 8am. She was on hourly obs. until 6 this morning but she can probably go on 4-hourly now. The systolic pressure has risen slowly. At 6am her temp was 37.8, pulse 108 and BP's 110 on 60. She's on IV antibiotics, Flagyl and Keflin. She's managing her PCA well scoring 2 to 3. Ambulated to the toilet, passed urine post-op. Emma

Yes a bolus of 200mls, and the next litre of saline was changed from an 8-hourly bag to a 6-hourly, which should be completed at eight. Bed 21 is empty.
